1 .Disconnect your dryer from its power source before starting the repair.
2. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
3. Check the parts that need to be replaced with the heater assembly. Coil,thermostat, thermal fuse or entire heater assembly.
4. If you are not sure if the heating wire is good.To test the heating element, you need an ohmmeter or multimeter.A good heating element should read about 9-10 ohms.A burnt element has very large ohms. Or you can look directly at the heating wire, and if there's a break, it needs to be replaced.
